Kuno P. Fischer studied at Law School of the University of Zurich. After graduation with a Master of Law in 1998 he was admitted to the bar in Switzerland in 2000. 2004 he received his Ph.D from University Zurich with the thesis "Fusionskontrollrechtliche Aspekte der Gründung von B2B-Internet-Handelsplattformen in Form von dauerhaften Vollfunktionsgemeinschaften".

 

Over several years he collected broad experience in the international Art Market as co-owner, member of the board, CEO and expert for Modern & Contemporary Art, President of the Swiss Fine Art and Antiques Auctioneers Association (2005-2017), co-founder and member of the board of the Swiss Art Market Association (2015-2017), member of the board of the Swiss Association of Dealers in Antiques & Art, member of Swiss Art Trading Association and member of CINOA (the international Federation of Art Dealers Associations). As Art Market expert he was on a regular basis counsel for art market organizations and institutions. In the Swiss Army he served as an officer in a reconnaissance squadron in the Swiss Air Force.

 

His services build on more than 25 years of insight, experience, leadership and multidisciplinarity with regard to the international art market, art transactions, art research, art law as well as art collection management.

 

He serves national and international private individuals and art collectors, family offices, family trusts, foundations, art professionals, research institutions  as well as institutional art collectors. He is an active member of the Board of Family Foundations and Foundations with a focus on Art, Music and Education as well as of Art Market related companies and associations.
