Kuno P. Fischer (born 1973) is an international art market expert, entrepreneur, curator and counsel to art institutions, art market participants and art collectors. Through his commitment Kuno Fischer has been an important agent not only in shaping the development of the Swiss Art Market but also in setting up and enriching many private and public art collections in Switzerland and abroad.

 

His experiences are based on his background as co-owner, member of the board, CEO and expert for Modern & Contemporary Art at Galerie Fischer Auktionen AG (the oldest Swiss Fine Art Auction House and one of the leading Auctioneers in Europe, link), president of the Swiss Fine Art and Antiques Auctioneers Association (2005-2017, link), co-founder and member of the board of the Swiss Art Market Association (2015-2017, link), member of the board of the Swiss Association of Dealers in Antiques & Art (2008-2022, link), member of Swiss Art Trading Association (link) and member of CINOA (the international Federation of Art Dealers Associations, link). Kuno studied at University of Zürich and Columbia University in New York. He holds a Master and a PhD in Law. He is admitted to the bar in Switzerland. In the Swiss Army he served as an officer in a reconnaissance squadron in the Swiss Air Force.

 

His services build on more than 25 years of insight, experience, leadership and multidisciplinarity with regard to the international art market, art transactions, art research, art law as well as art collection management.

 

He serves international private individuals and international art collectors, family offices, family trusts, foundations, art professionals, research institutions  as well as institutional art collectors.
